The 1921 retired MS Day Peckinpaugh will once again be on the move thru the NYS Barage Canal System ( the former Erie Canal ) The Albany Times reported today that the Peckinpaugh along with other historic vessels will thour the 500 mile system this summer. The Day Peckinpaugh's holds have been convert to a museum area dedicated to the history of the canal. The motership will be repainted and rehurblished for this summer's tour.
