In the Photo Galleries it says that John D Leitch has one large hold served by 22 hatches. I thought it was necessary in terms of flooding prevention & stability to section a large boat into a number of holds. Is the Leitch unique among large lake boats in having just one large hold? Why would it not be partitioned into many holds? Thanks
