There were a number of cards made of photos taken along the canal at about that time, but I am not sure they were "a series". When the photo was taken as opposed to when the card was printed is a good question. Blue River was only converted from a barge during 1934 so the photo had to be taken after that. She only had those two heavy spars and cargo booms for a very few years before they were removed, probably by 1940 at the latest. So that dates the image to 1935-1940 period.
