The downbound vessel is either the Blue River or the Bluecross, Wolfriver was built in 1956, Franquelin in 1936, however these two vessel had forward wheelhouses, while the Blue River and Blue Cross has stern wheelhouses at this time, eventually over the years the wheelhouses were moved forward. I suggested the Blue River in an earlier post, Jay Bascom confirmed this vessel in the photo, as the Blue River, was downbound in lock 4.
