Don't believe everything you read. Rate around 35 to 55 cars an hour. Burners are in so rate is lower around 30 to 40 cars an hour. If its cold try 10 to 20 cars an hour, depends on how cold it is. There are so many factors in loading a boat. To give you an example, Herbert C. Jackson was taking 166 cars. Took over 12 hours to load. Had problems with the pig and broken hook cable, plus waited on coal from yard.
