624 ft. for the Voorhees is incorrect, unless they are referring to the distance between perpendiculars. All five "Supers" were 639 1/2 Ft. overall length. The 647 is the overall length of the "Big Three." All three vessels were of basically, identical design, from the same set of blueprints. There were, of course, subtle differences which could be identified by the expert boatwatcher. I can't explain why there is a difference in cargo capacity.
