I guess the answer depends on how tricky you are trying to be. The Roger Blough, at 858 feet, was in Pittsburgh colors and set to be launched in 1971. However, due to a fire, the Blough didn't enter active service until 1972. The largest straight deckers in the Pittsburgh fleet in 1971 were the Anderson, Calloway, and Clarke at 647 feet (loa). However, the largest boat operated by Pittsburgh Steamship in 1971 was the John G. Munson at 666 feet(loa). The Munson was originally built for Bradley, a USS subsidary, but joined the Pittsburgh fleet as the result of a 1967 merger.
