I was a lucky young lad of about 9 yrs old and met your grandfather. he sailed with my dad for csl. I remember him well the day my dad passed away in 1970 fred ship docked in picton at the ore docks there he kept the ship there for 3 days so he could come to my dads funeral my mom was to say the least very im pressed as was i was glad to see he made csl hall of fame because he truley was a good friend to my father donald william head of picton ont.
