Specialty Resturants Corp. out of California owns that barge. They also owned the old Crawdaddy's waterfront resturant at the Erie Basin and the new Shanghi Red's that replaced it. The original plan was for a resturant on the Landsdowne along the Black Rock Canal in Buffalo but the city, the Army Corps, and the Coast Guard said no to the location they had picked out and after that fell through they have moved it around a total of 5 times in Buffalo and once in Erie in the last few years. When it was tied up here the first time out at the Port Terminal (before they took it to Erie, and then brought it back again) the cars were in much better shape and all the windows were intact. Then for some reason they moved it upriver to a dock with no security and the kids in the neighborhood knocked all the glass out of those cars. Right now I've got no idea why they just moved it again. -B in B
