Just reading the news release at Algoma Central's website and it seems to imply that the Algobay and Algoport will go to Jiangyan, China to have the forebodies attached instead of the forebodies being towed to a shipyard in Canada and attached here. Is it that unprofitable for a shipping company to have all the conversion work done in Canada, that it has to be done overseas. Also, compared to the CSL rebuildings done in the late 90's, which if I recall correctly were done for $30-million, these rebuildings for Algoma at $62.5 million are very expensive. I just wonder why there is such a price increase, especially for work being done overseas in China.
