There is no mention in John Greenwood's Namesakes 1900-1910 of the Maurice B Grover becomming a barge, although there is a Anna P Grover mentioned in Greenwood's Namesakes, 1910-1919 a Schooner-Barge, abandoned for age and hull condition in 1917, John did not mention where she was abandoned, BGSU mentions Final enrollment surrendered at Detroit, MI, March 15, 1916, and endorsed "abandoned", not much to go on, you may have known this already.
