This weeks Hamilton Spectator the local paper had a story on the closing of all accesses to the harbour. My former enployer is now installing electric gates across all access roads to the docks. All the favorite spots for taking ship shots will now be non access areas. Piers 25-26 along the QEW hwy and areas around Heddles and McKiels will also be fenced off.This is not a decision of the Port of Hamilton but is being mandated by Transport Canada who also have requested the fencing of the Welland canal. I dont know how to download the story but this is the general gist of this story. Wally
