Does anyone have information on the old brick house that was by the old parking lot across from the old Boblo Dock in Amherstburg? It was posted else where on these message boards that it was the site of McQueen Marine, but I believe that was on the site of the new Boblo dock, as I found the following in the archives of Amherstburg Echo: "On a sadder note, the old office building at the sharp curve of Dalhousie Street South will be torn down sometime in the new year. The 24 ft x 30 ft frame structure was built for McQueen Marine Ltd. in 1945 and contained several offices, a board room and radio telephone room. This thriving marine salvage and construction business was at that time the third largest employer in Amherstburg until l979 when operations ceased. Bob-Lo Island interests now own the property and they have no use for the outdated 60-year-old landmark." The buliding I'm referring to was a large three story brick home, that looked to be in decent shape considering it's age. I'm looking for history on the building.
