i don't have the answer to your current questions. i visited the mill alot back in the 80's and 90's and a variety of boats would deliver coal to the mill. I was able to tour the Arthur M. Anderson on one occassion. The papermill people told me the biggest limitation was the shallow draft. Boats like the Anderson would be about 1/2 full or about 11,000 tons due to draft limitations. They would pull straight in, unload and back out with no problem unless it was windy. regards, dave nobbe
