Notice to shipping 1264 this afternoon says that the Burlington Bridge will remain in the closed position from 26/19.00 until further notice. Does anyone know the full story? It may be connected to the control room fire on Sunday during which the bridge operator left the control room and Prescot Coast Guard took over communication asking ships to stay clear.
