The Mackinaw 83 will be opening weekends only in May from 10 am until 9 pm, and daily June-August from 10 am until 9 pm, and weekends only Sept-Oct from 10 am until 6 pm. I will be working as a volunteer on the ship starting in June on the morning shift. Visitors will be shown an introductory video film upon boarding, special hands-on activities for children and the young at heart, and a gift shop will be located in the exercise room. The tour will include the Captain's quarters, the berthing area, engine room, and other areas. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-17 years old, family rate of $25, and reduced fees for groups of 12 or more.
