Anyone know why CSL chose to scrap the Tarantau and sell off the Saguenay when they did? Both were maximum size self unloaders and seemed well kept. I know the Tarantau was a steamer and that the Saguenay was a diesel and probably rotten from service on the Seaway (not unlike the Simcoe and Rimouski) but what of the Tarantau? Additionally, what would have been the point of converting the Whitefish Bay to a self unloader, renaming her Quetico, and then reconverting her to a straight decker? Seems like she should have just been left a self unloader, as I believe she only lasted 10 more years. Thanks Ted
