Dave, The Charles A. Paul was built in West Bay City, Michigan in 1907 as the General Garretson. This 540 foot boat was renamed E. J Kulas in 1935, then Powhatan in 1936, and renamed again in 1937 under the name your picture shows, the Charles A. Paul. In 1956 her name was agian changed to B. F. Jones (2). She sailed in her later years in the Wilson fleet, and was sold for scrap in 1973 in Spain.
