Hwy 17E about 40 mins to exit to St JOseph Island Hwy 548. Just keep following the Hwy 548 and it will take you to Johnsons point which is Sailors Encampment on the island as Jim said. Here on St joes you will find a great B&B called Puddingstone and several great restaurants to eat at, there is three gas stations on our island. We have it all and some of the best photo op as well as ships pass from Detour on the southern tip of the island until they turn West at Stribling Point at the NW corner of the island. If you are lucky you will see ships going to Bruce Mines or Thessalon on the East side of the island as well. Puddingstone B&B is a English tudor style mansion you will stay at for about $65Cdn includes breakfast buffet. Easy to find it all here, hard to leave. T Parker
