Don't let the fact that the expense of a new paint job will keep it in service. The ST Crapo was converted to diesel power and never sailed again after the conversion. What I can tell you is that although the Townsend has a lesser capacity then the Iglehart, it is much more versatile because it diesel powered where the Iglehart is steam. This makes it much easier to bring out of temporary layup when her need arises. I can't say what the final decision will be, I hate to see either one of them go.
