i went up to oswego yesterday just to see what 20" waves looked like crashing into the breakwall. in a word awsome. at times from the shore end of the wall the waves and spume blocked out the lighthouse. waves to 5 ft inside the harbor at places. west of the collage where there is no wall there were head sized rocks thrown up unto the side of the parking area. you had to be careful walking in the wind, a misstep and it could knock you over. i have some pics i'll post when i get the chance.
