I've agonized over this photo for several years. I believe it is the *Rockwood,* clearly in Lake Sand Corp. colors, sitting at the Material Service Corp. dock just above Ewing Avenue on the Calumet River, 1941. She is never indicated as being owned by LSCorp., but I have two photos of her at Chicago, one at the same dock, in the same era, also in LSCorp colors. She started life as the novel steel lumber carrier *Jesse Spalding* in 1899. Cushman's Kodachromes are great: Check out his World War II-era shots of gals along Chicago's beaches!
