The August Zising was resold in 1986 to U.L.S. International for scrapping at their Algoma Steel dock site at Port Colborne, Ont. She passed Detroit downbound Aug. 16, 1986 on the way to Port Colborne towed by the "G" tugs Ohio and Nebraska. Dismantling was completed at Port Colborne by mid-November 1986, three months after she had arrived. Peter A.B. Widener was sold in 1986 for overseas scraping and was towed through the Welland Canal for the third time Nov. 8, 1986 by the tugs Tusker and Glenada en route to Lauzon, Quebec arriving there on Nov. 18. She departed Lauzon on July 9, 1987 under tow of the Polish tug Jantar, reportedly bound for Lisbon Portugal. I also have a full history on them but no pictures
