Thanks to all for the directions to the various locations to photograph up there. Weather yesterday and today was not at all condusive to to photography, but was interesting nonetheless. Did get to photograph the Canadian Progress and Paul Tregurtha under the lift bridge, as well as the Courtney Burton by Port Terminal, and the John Sherwin. I love the salute (Im assuming thats what it is, a long and two shorts)the boats give to the bridge, and the bridge gives back. Pretty cool. One question regarding the waves. There were some good rollers in the channel this morning as well as some coming into shore. NOAA was saying winds at 35-45knots, waves 7-9 ft. Out in open water, does it translate into bigger waves?
