For those of you in the Toledo area. Last night on WGTE a program was on titled "Lake Erie: Ohio's Great Lake". I was impressed on the history of the lake and how the canals worked in bringing goods to other places in the state. Shipping on the lakes was a section of the program. Cleveland, Lorain, Sandusky, Ashtabula, Conneaut, etc. were all discussed. Many old photographs were shown as well. Lighthouses and Perry's battle were all discussed too. For anyone interested the program will re-air tomorrow, Sat. 4/29, at 5:00pm on WGTE Toledo.
