Maximum size boat for the Black Rock Lock is a Maritimer at 620 feet. Am. Ship looked into trying to push their River Class boats like the Buffalo through there but limited draft over the sills at the lock was a drawback. Maumee & Calumet are a perfect fit for that run. -B in B
