Speer was built at American Shipbuilding Lorain and they primarly used Pielsticks or Alco's. The Blough, the Interlake footers, and the Hanna footer got Pielsticks the river boats got Alcos except the Corneilus which has an EMD. The Gott was built by Bay ship building, so that may be one reason . Still it's odd that she got an Enterprise when Bay ship pretty much built everything with EMD's back then. I think it has to do with the yard, the Presque Isle got Blackstones at Erie. That's my guess. Brian
