One way of keeping the revenue "in the family". I knew CN owned the B&LE, Along with the DMIR and Conneaut dock and dock railroad. Just wasnt sure where exactly what rail line the steel mill sat on. I visited Conneaut a couple of yrs ago while visiting my wifes sister in law in Erie. No boats, but a nice place to view one is at the marina down near the entrance. B&LE did put on a good show, however.
