If I'm not mistaken, the William L. Warner (not to be confused with the William H. Warner of 1923) is the former Jos. F. Bigane, a refueling tanker based in one of the southern Lake Michigan ports. She was built in New Orleans in 1973. The Bowling Green database hasn't been updated with the name change, but here is the photo they have of her as the Bigane: http://digin.bgsu.edu/vessel/00/06/000685.jpg
