"Right Honorable" is an honorific given to persons who serve as Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister. Paul Martin Sr. was also a distinguished Minister of External Affairs (now called, as in most other countries, "foreign affairs". His home in Windsor, Ontario, faces the Detroit River -- no wonder his son, the current Prime Minister, grew up loving lake ships and became owner of Canada Steamships (now owned by his sons.)
