Her builders, Manitowoc SBCorp., were also responsible for her dual triple-expansion steam engines. The Doxford engines were invariably large, opposed piston Diesel installations. I can recollect on the lakes only the Diesels built in 1924 at Chester PA for the *Henry Ford II* and *Benson Ford* by Sun SBCo under a license from William Doxford & Sons Ltd.w
