Hi, Jay, That's fascinating, and I'd never heard that. You have obviously seen the picture of BAINBRIDGE, and part of me wonders if she was painted all white, as she was when she entered the lakes in June of '22, but then painted with a black hull after arrival at St. Joseph/Benton Harbor, and if she might have stopped in Toronto on her way in the lakes. Of course, if BAINBRIDGE is shown in her black and white colors, then your theory is no doubt correct. If you should ever learn any more about it I would definitely be interested. Best wishes, Chuck
