Dean, she's old and tired and would require a major investment to pass her Coast Guard inspection. Furthermore, she has been replaced in the Grand River fleet by the Richard Reiss. Demand would probably have to increase substantially to justify the investment necessary to get the Maumee up to speed. Too bad, she was the first ship I sailed on and my "home" for a number of happy seasons.
