Bill- My husband just retired after 26+ yrs as a mate. I can say this. If you don't mind spending long periods away from love ones and don't mind being gone for most holidays...then that is a job for you! Think carefully on it before you act on it. It is a far cry from the romance that it is portrayed on Boatnerd. Hope that helps with your desision making.
