My parents started vacationing on Lake Charlevoix in 1957, west side of the south arm 1 mile north of M-32 on M-66. The East Jordan & Southern RR was still serving EJIW (but not for much longer) but the docks there were nothing but rotten pilings. I've seen boats unloading stone at Ironton and coal at the power plant in Advance but that was it. I don't recall ever reading anything about boats to EJIW but that doesn't mean they never were served by boat.
