Canadian Transport was loading salt in Fairport at noon Tuesday, and still there at 1700. Canadian Transfer came in with a load of very fine white stone for Osborne at 1630. Cuyahoga was unloading in Cleveland at the ex-NYPANO Ontario Stone dock. No other boats in town, checked all the way upriver. No salties. MCM Derrick 55 (one of the 2 big ex-GLD+D Bucyrus single-enders, built in 1926-27) is already in at their yard, along with the Gaynor and a smaller tug, won't know its name until I unload the pix. Pretty good RR action too, a good afternoon.
