Sounds like you are confusing the Italian Flag (green, white, red) with the Mexican Flag (same colors but with an eagle with a snake in its beak standing on a cactus in the white section) The regular Capt.'s name on the Lee A. is Nuzzo -- Italian, maybe he had the flag flying. The Interlake flag is Orange, White and Black with the Interlake Stack Logo in the white section.
