I was in HB 9 to 24 July and was dying to see a boat come the Detriot Edison but no luck. There was a small coal pile that looked like it was from an earlier delivery. Does anyone know what boat does deliver coal to HB. By the way, as a kid I remember my parents taking us to the beach at night in our PJs to watch the Stmr Wyanndote unload coal at the Hercules Dock. The sound of the steam winches and engines will always remain in my heart. Also got to relive some memories and take my nephew 7 miles off shore and watch the MV Blough go by. My father sailed for Clevelaand Cliffs and that was the only way we got to see our father during the summer months. Of cource the notes in a bottle and the dozen cookies from the cook wasn't bad either....memories.
