Hi Nicole, I was on hand last November 8, 2003 when the salt water vessel BBC Russia hit the lock wall while approaching the Mac Lock upbound. The vessel sustained very little damage and was loaded with a cargo of steel coils at the time bound for the Algoma Steel Export Dock in Sault, ONT.
