There are harbor cruises that give you a look at the Chicago Harbor Light. They leave from Navy Pier. Nearby in Evanston is the Grosse Point Lighthouse. www.cyberlights.com/lh/ill/grossepoint.htm Check for hours before you go, if you wish to go inside. Residential neighborhood with narrow streets, but there is public parking two doors to the north.
