This actually is the former *Bonnie G. Selvick* 227498, built as the *E. James Fucik* in 1928 at Manitowoc by the Manitowoc SBCorp, hull no. 242, for FitzSimmons & Connell D&DCo., Chicago. She originally measured 79.8 x 21.1 x 11.3; 95 gt, 64 nt. She originally had a F & AC steam engine, 15-35 x 26, built by Dodge Bros, Detroit. In 1952 F&CD&DCo rebuilt and repowered her, using a Cleveland Diesel 8-278A. After passing into Marritt-Chapman & Scott in 1955 and Dunbar & Sullivan in 1965, she came to Selvick in 1977 and was renamed. TNT Dredging of Grand Rapids now owns her as the *Bonnie G.* HCGL online has a great shot of her as a steam tug.
