I posted the article. I saw the pictures in the files when I sailed both ships. I believe the Bramble incident was in DEC 1969. The Mackinaw was in the middle 70's, but not sure when or who hit her. As I remember it was one of the USS boats. The Ninth Coast Guard District Public Afairs Office may have pictures. I am not sure where the files from Bramble went. If I get a chance when Mackinaw returns I will see if I can get my hands on them to copy.
