There is a small coal pile in St. Ignace next to the city (and state) maintenance garage. This is just to the south of the 1950's era ferry docks. Does this coal come in by boat, and if so, which boats typically deliver it? It looks like they would have to enter the ferry dock to unload. Also where is the coal used? The only place I can think of is at the power plant at Kincheloe.
