This is high quality brine, having 15% calcium chloride content. They use it for road de-icer and possibly calcium chloride flake. The wells producing the brine are inland about 20 miles, pumping 11,000 barrels per day. Currently trucked to a storage tank near the dock until a pipeline is approved.
