I'm trying to compile a list of what railroads owned what docks/facilities at ports around the Great Lakes. My 'Red Books' go only back as far as 1967, and my 'Lake Boats' date back to only 1974, and I know there are many m-u-c-h older than that! For example, Erie R.R. owned a set of huletts on the 'old' Cuyahoga River, and Pennsylvania R.R. owned those on the lakefront in Cleveland, while the B&O R.R. owned the coal loaders in Lorain and Fairport, and C&O R.R. owned Huletts and coal docks in Toledo. I can think of alot more, but not nearly all, so I'm interested in hearing from those of you who have knowledge of such operations to complete my list. The further back in time, the better!!! Dale
