Hi All; Here in Pt. Stanley, the Lake Erie fishing tugs went out for the first time this season yesterday morning, (26-02-04). They reported that there was open water about 1 mile off shore. Yhey set their nets and came back in around 12:15 noon. Today (27-02-04), I watched a couple of fish tugs come back in, and I was impressed by how much power these guys have. The ice in Kettle Creek had to have been about 6",or more, and the tug J.C.Weaver chewed it up and spit it out!
