A couple of years ago a diver found what he thought was that site, but in that area the ruins of the old Detroit city hall were also dumped in the late 1960's so I wonder if that is what he really found. I know there are quite a few wrecks in the lower St Clair river but the Lake is so shallow, open and muddy that I don't think there were many wrecks and if there were most would have been salvaged. The most memorable would have been when they burned the super structure of what I think was the Put in Bay steamer.
