Edward, don't miss driving out on the west pier to watch boats and the sunset if one is visible! Whitefish Point is about an hour west of the Soo and is worth the drive. You can see the boats at several spots along the drive there including Iroquois Point lighthouse near Brimley. Beautiful in the winter.
