My Great Uncle was lost on the Great Lakes in 1908. I get this information from the Simpson Family grave marker in Port Lambton Ontario. Back in the 1960's my father told me that his ship disappeared in a storm on Lake Superior. I believe he may have been on the D.M. Clemson. If anyone has access to crew lists and could locate his name on a roster I would greatly appreciate it. He went by his Middle name, Rufus Simpson. I am working on some family history I also seek information on his sister's husband Duncan McIntyre. He was killed in a collision, another ship hit the compartment in which he was sleeping. His ship was not lost and I seem to think it may have been in the Detroit River. My Great Aunt remarried in 1914 so it was of course before that year. If anyone can shed some light on either of these occurrences I would be thankful. Glen Simpson
