So much talk of the classics heading off to the scrap yards got me wondering. Why are there so few museum ships ?. With lake shipping being such an important catlyst to these communities you would think that they would be falling over themselves to secure a piece of history to aptly display their "roots".I imagine money as usual is the main issue. It just seems a shame to see such pieces of history go to waste.
